An Artful Life
On June 21, 2024, our dear friend and fellow artist Cynthia Pepper’s life was taken by an incurable cancer that she fought for more than four years with courage, determination, and grace.
Cynthia left a trove of creativity—dance, films, and paintings. She received degrees from CalArts and SFSU and was a choreographer and a teacher of jazz, modern, and classical ballet throughout the Bay Area. Her passion for painting and printmaking was ignited at the College of Marin. She seamlessly co-existed in the performing and visual arts world and blossomed into the all-around creative soul we dearly miss.
Co-curators, Anna Rochester and Bibi Summer are proud to share Cynthia’s spirit with you in a retrospective of her work at the College of Marin Fine Arts Gallery in Kentfield, CA, from Feb. 10–March 7
Join us for the Opening Reception of Cynthia Pepper, An Artful Life, on Thurs., Feb.13, from 4:00–6:00 pm at the College of Marin Fine Arts Gallery, 835 College Avenue, Kentfield, CA 94904
