Connect the Dots Art Studio is weaving peace together!

Artists Anna Rochester and Barbara Libby-Steinmann are honored to be leading a meaningful, collaborative project for this year’s Peace Festival at the San Geronimo Valley Community Center.

In partnership with the Lagunitas School District, TK–8th grade students and community members have joined forces to create a dazzling upcycled tapestry — a stunning peace symbol woven from over 200 repurposed CDs!

Each CD has been transformed into a vibrant, one-of-a-kind piece of art, reflecting the creativity, color, and collective spirit of our valley. Together, these sparkling discs will form a symbol that reminds us how small acts of art and connection can ripple outward to inspire harmony and hope.

This project embodies the heart of Connect the Dots Art Studio — bringing people together through creativity, sustainability, and shared purpose.

A heartfelt thank-you to the Marin Independent Journal for shining a light on this story of community and peace.
